This website is an allegory for gun control. Forgotten and abandoned in only 6 months. This is why NRA has as much power as they do, they last and they care about what they believe in. To think people were suprised that gun control failed in the senate? Politicians know what gives them more power then money, Votes. So naturally, they will court the people that vote and vote for them.

I am a 16 years old Malaysian teen who is dreaming of going to USA to study and live there since I am a child. Due to my pro USA stance, I sometimes have some disagreement with my schoolmates who are not as like-minded as me.
However, recently I am shocked to hear the tragic Sandy Hook school shooting spree that took 26 innocent lives. This made me to rethink going to USA according to my plans and made me became scared that whether I will be the next victim of the next shooting spree if Mr President hasn’t ban firearm sales to people with troubled background. So, I, together with WE THE PEOPLE, hopes that Obama will ban firearms sales to these people for a BETTER and SAFER future.

If you would like to make a monumental change, please sign my petition at

Finally, I would like to share a quote from the Terminator film : “There’s no fate but what we make for ourselves”.

Hi, Paulette! The date is not still February 17th. The organizers are working to secure a new date. Stay tuned, and we’ll have news soon!

Is the date still February 17? Maybe it’s right in front of me, but I can’t see any dates on your website. Thanks.

Have you seen the millions of people out on the streets of New Delhi in India to express outrage when A woman was raped and killed? Why isn’t there such an ongoing outcry when 20 innocent children were shot and killed? We can’t be such a spineless society! Let us bring millions, not just 1 million, kids and every human being who cares about them to DC and not leave until strict laws are passed. It has to be a resounding response against every argument ever made in favor of guns.

We need to march, talk, sign, tweet, and even shout (as Piers Morgan did last night) to keep the focus and the intensity and the outrage alive. Already the NRA is making hay out of our diminished attention to this issue. Please sign the petition TAGS: teachers against guns in schools.

NRA says put armed guards in schools…….well of course they do. After all who really is the source of the NRA, but the gun manufacturers. Read Dr. Seuss’s “The Sneetches” ……..McMonkey McBean.

The tag heading paragraph should read: "A Million kids advocating for safety from guns. This is not just a school issue. Kids are killed by guns in their homes, streets, malls, not just schools. It is critical that this campaign honors and represents all children in this country. Go to Camden, NJ, for example. Most children there are gunned down in the street.

You might touch base with the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital. In June they organized the Rock the Mall event celebrating 100 years of Scouting. Thousands of Girl Scouts from all over the country and some international too. They had a stage, large screens, bathrooms, food vendors, etc. Website:

You guys are ON it. Love the logo, too. Does anyone have an in with Bloomberg? Apparently he’s ready to spend some serious cash on this issue.

Fantastic! I live on Long Island, and would love to join others locally marching for this. Anyone else locally who I/we can get together with/talk with about this?

Thank you for organizing! I would like to participate. Would you consider a multi-city march? I live in Chicago.

I plan to work in upper Bucks County, PA to organize participation in this very important public action. I also want to help w/the general logistics which are more than obtaining the permit to gather. There are considerations such as bathroom facilities, 1st aid stations, speakers platform construction/dismantling and PA system, transportation logistics (most likely will need to park many buses at outlying metro stations and take The Metro directly to The Mall), and I’m sure there are other considerations as well. PLEASE reach back to me using the contact info I included when registering. Thank you for getting this ball rolling!

Will you help bring one million kids to DC on a march to inspire sensible gun policies in America?
Who could say no to a million kids? Not even Congress.
